Creating beautiful (or sometimes ugly) things has always been part of my
life. When I was a kid I never used to watch TV, I was not interested at all.
Instead I would sit in my room and sew dolls, clothes for the dolls, clothes
for myself (never anything wearable), crochet, knit, beading, salt dough etc.
These were the only things I was interested. Then I stopped doing these crafts
when I was a teenager and now a few years ago I felt the need to create again!
Because I always loved taking pictures and could spend hours and hours looking
at and editing my pictures, I turned to photography. I completed the 365project,
which I am really proud of. It meant that I took a picture every day and
uploaded it here: 365project.org/yogibari
Then I left London and somehow didn’t feel so inspired to take photos, I
turned to creating food! Lovely dishes, cakes and drinks. J
I love creating in the kitchen, but soon I remembered I like making other
things with my hands as well. So I started googling the words: diy, craft,
crochet etc. And now after about 20 years I started crocheting again! I am
making a whale at the moment, which I will share when it’s ready. J
I am planning to make many things by hands for Xmas! (However my boyfriend (aka
David) has already said, he wanted no crocheted socks) L
