Flower Zoom
Today I spent hours trying one of the Photoshop DIY projects from the Digital SLR Photography Magazine. (I know... the hard life of a yoga teacher)
Here is the result. If you look carefully you can find the original photo on the blog as well.
I learnt a lot from this exercise! I'm getting quite amazing at Photoshop.
Might make some more, but it takes such a long time...

Club Bond
These candies have been in the club for ages, since the Charlie and the chocolate factory night and ever since then I have always wanted to take pictures of them. Today I brought my camera and these photos are the result. The lighting wasn't amazing as it is a night club, so I'm not entirely happy with the colors either. I only have my small netbook on me with no photoshop so I had to rely on good old Picasa. They are not too bad, but there will be candies left, I might give it another go.

After rain
Oh this was such a magical day! I woke up by the sun shining into my eyes at 8am. I looked out of my window and it was so pretty outside. I put a coat on my pyjamas and went outside to take pictures. It was raining all night and in the morning the sun came out. In the shades the leaves and the grass were a little frosty.

Matrioshka project
OMG! The amount of time I spent on this photo! I made it for the course I'm doing. The assignment was to take a photo of an object in an artistic way. I have chosen my matrioshka doll, but I just didn’t have any ideas how make it look artistic. I have lined them up took several pictures of them choosing always a different one of them to focus on. I played with different settings but my pictures just looked very boring. Days passed and then I gave up on the matrioshka dolls. I found my glass earth globe and I thought that it would look pretty in the sunshine, so I started taking pictures of it and noticed I can see through it, that’s how the idea of putting my matrioshka doll and the houses (from across the road) behind it came to me and I was really happy I got this idea, because originally I wanted to use the dolls for my homework, but I wanted to create something interesting. I'm very happy with the result and I got maximum points from my tutor. :)
